Melania Trump Marriage Details Exposed By NY Times In Bombshell Report

Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal published reports regarding sexual interactions and hush money payments made to adult movie actress, Stormy Daniels. Media outlets quickly picked up the story, which detailed a Trump-affiliated lawyer as making an arrangement with the actress in the form of a six-figure payment, so long as she remained quiet regarding previous interactions between her and the now president.

According to reports, the agreement involved the signing of a non-disclosure agreement between the actress and Trump, for a compensation amounting to roughly $130,000. Sure, one could see the blatant befuddlement and bewilderment of individuals around the country, but perhaps one person was impacted more than any other upon finding out about the affair.

In recent weeks, there has been a clear absence of First Lady Melania Trump from the press coverage limelight, as she has seemingly kept a low profile in the wake of the alleged affair. Reports are now indicating that the First Lady not only was furious with the discovery of sexual interactions by the president with an adult actress, but furthermore was blindsided in not knowing that the alleged affair had even occurred. According to a New York Times report:

‘Mrs. Trump and the president have had a tumultuous relationship at times over the years, but few episodes have roiled the peace as much as the news surrounding Ms. Daniels. The reports of a payoff blindsided the first lady, who was furious with her husband, according to two people close to the couple. She has kept a low profile since.’

The president’s sexual interactions with Ms. Daniels allegedly took place only a year after the marriage between Melania and Donald, and during the time wherein Mrs. Trump was pregnant with the couple’s son together, Barron Trump. Given the apparent embarrassment felt by Mrs. Trump, and the disgust that comes with hiding an affair during a wife’s pregnancy, it is clear why the First Lady opted to remain hidden in recent weeks.

The State of the Union address, which is set to be given on Tuesday, is supposedly going to be Mrs. Trump’s first reemergence into the public sphere since news of the affair initially broke. Since the Wall Street Journal‘s report, the first lady has backed out of numerous trips with her husband, including not accompanying the president to Davos for the World Economic Forum, and instead taking a trip to the Mar-a-Lago resort.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s personal lawyer and individual who supposedly arranged the payment, has since denied the allegations of the payment that was detailed in the initial report. According to Mrs. Trump’s close aides, the first lady has been keeping a low profile to tend to issues regarding her role, as well as her family. The president has been accused of over a dozen sexual harassment cases and assaults in recent years, as many women have spoken out against Trump’s actions since his rise to public office. Despite numerous attempts of the White House to deny such charges, it is slowly but surely becoming evident that Trump’s indiscriminate sexual past is beginning to haunt him intensely.

The first lady sent out a tweet on the heels of her husband’s State of the Union Address on Tuesday, stating that she will be in attendance, joined by honorable guests who have served the nation in times of need.

I will be joined tonight by an honorable group of Americans. Sitting with me are heroes who have served our nation in times of need, families who have suffered at the hands of evil, and citizens who have embraced the American dream.
